A Planned Parenthood in Colorado which was once the target of a pro-life sting has announced that they will be closing.
Planned Parenthood says they plan to close their Pueblo facility because their lease has expired and the shopping center they rented from has no intention of renewing it.
According to reports, the shopping center was recently sold and the new owner notified Planned Parenthood in December that they would not renew the lease.
Planned Parenthood said that they could not find a new location.
In an interview with KOAA, Vicky Cowart, the CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains said, “The difficulty is that you have to have a medical facility and it has to um be able to be licensed and be in the right spot so our patients can get to it and you know you have to have different kind of plumbing and that kind of thing.”

Cowart also told KOAA, “We immediately engaged in an exhaustive process of investigating alternative locations and seeking support from area donors to help cover the costs of moving the health center, but we were unable to find an affordable alternative.”
In 2002, Life Dynamics did an undercover investigation to document how Planned Parenthood and the abortion lobby were failing to report child sexual abuse.
During that investigation, Life Dynamics’ undercover caller contacted the Planned Parenthood of Pueblo.
She posed as a 13-year-old girl impregnated by an adult male.
Here is a portion of that conversation:
CALLER
-
- : Okay. Well, it’s just, the thing is, my friend told me that like I’m going to be 14 next month, and my friend said that they would have to tell my parents. But my boyfriend’s 22. Is he old enough to take care of it, and they wouldn’t have to tell anybody?
Planned Parenthood: You don’t have to have your parents’ consent.
The caller, posing as a young girl impregnated by a 22-year-old man, then asks if her boyfriend can pay for the test and if they would keep it confidential, to which, Planned Parenthood replied, “it’s all confidential.”
CALLER
-
- : Well, my boyfriend said that he would pay for everything, but we were talking about all this, and we don’t want a whole bunch of people to know about us. Would he have to sign anything if he was paying?
Planned Parenthood: No. Uh-uh.
CALLER: Oh. Okay.
Planned Parenthood: You know, if he’s paying with cash, no.
CALLER: Okay.
Planned Parenthood: You would have to fill out a form, but it’s all confidential.
CALLER: Really?
Planned Parenthood: Yeah. His name doesn’t go on it.
CALLER: Okay. Well, if it ended up that I wasn’t pregnant, could I get birth control there?
Planned Parenthood: Yeah, uh-huh.

Since that investigation, Life Dynamics has published actual criminal case summaries which prove that what Life Dynamics uncovered in 2002, is still happening today. Read that report here.
