Abortion and rape are often touted as reasons for keeping child killing in the womb legal. But, rape victims and rape conceived are speaking out that all life is precious!
This week, Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund launched a state-wide educational campaign which includes TV spots and short films featuring women who share why they are pro-life
The campaign is called the Compassion Project and according to the group’s website, was originally created to impart the truth that every life has immeasurable value.
In one of the first spots created by the Compassion Project, Travone shares of how she discovered that she was conceived in rape.
“My mom told me that I was conceived in rape,” Travone says in the video, “I would ask my mom … why didn’t you abort me? She said she didn’t see me as the rape baby. That was the stigma I put on myself. She never even treated me like I was a burden to her. Just somehow [to] have the desire to protect me and to just see me as a separate human being. I am so grateful.”
Travon’s life was turned upside down when she learned the circumstances of her conception: “Just because we were conceived in rape, it doesn’t mean there isn’t beauty in us or from us that can’t be offered.”

Right to Life of Michigan President Barbara Listing points out that rape is one of the reasons abortion advocates use to keep child killing legal said, “Those in favor of abortion have pointed to survivors of rape to justify legalized abortion, she said, “There is a preconception that women who become pregnant from rape want to abort their children. This is a false stereotype not supported by fact. To counter this misconception, Right to Life of Michigan launched the compassion project. The women featured in the compassion project share why they believe rape should not be used as a reason to justify abortion.”
This past week, as millions of pro-life people mourned the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion on demand, rape conceived children and mothers who became pregnant from rape, met in Washington, D.C.
CHOICES4LIFE founder, Juda Myers explained the reason for her Rape Conception Myth Busters gathering to Life Dynamics, “This event was created to educate pro-lifers in the ongoing debate about rape conception. While pro aborts use rape as the foundation for the need of abortion the pro-life side sometimes holds the same opinion adding laws with exceptions for abortion after rape,” she said.
Myers said that ten people came forward to share personal testimony in the case for life after rape.
Juda Myers was conceived in rape. She was put up for adoption and was later able to locate her mother to thank her for not aborting her. Her mother’s story is compelling and Myers described it in a January 2009 episode of the pro-life show, Life Talk TV.
Juda’s mom recently passed away and Juda is grateful that she had the opportunity to have a relationship with her “Hero” birth mom.
Speaking on Myers’ Choices4Life panel, was Elaine Riddick, who was featured in Life Dynamics’ documentary on abortion and black genocide, Maafa21.
Elaine was sterilized after she gave birth to her rape conceived son at 14.
She didn’t find out until she was 19.
Elaine talks about her story in this clip from Maafa21:

“As moderator I wanted to extract testimonies based on the constant comments,” Myers said.
Juda Myers lists some of those comments:
-
“No woman could look at that child. It would remind her of the rape.”
“Those children will be demon seeds and be like the rapist.”
“They won’t amount to anything.”
“it’s better for the mom to just get rid of it and not think about it”
There is a rising indignation among those with rape conception that has never happened before, Myers said, “Boldness to speak for ourselves is causing people to shed the shame and fight for our right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
“In our society of “tolerance” the rape conceived child should not be the criminal. We should NOT tolerate rape but children are not criminals,” she stated.
Myers told Life Dynamics that her organization, CHOICES4LIFE will be holding a rally and march for equal human rights for the rape conceived in Jackson, MS where, according to Myers, “abortion became legal for the first time in the US but ONLY for killing the rape conceived.”

Abortion advocates paint abortion as an “empowering” choice, but those who work with post abortive women know the truth is vastly different.

The pro-choice mob often defends abortions before viability on the basis that the unborn are dependent on someone else to survive. But if an unborn baby has no right to life simply because he or she is unable to survive without help, then there are others who have no right to life either.
