CLINIC: Planned Parenthood.

CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there?

CLINIC: We don’t do them in this office. We do them in our Orange office.

CALLER: Okay. Do you have that number?

CLINIC: Yeah. We can help schedule the appointment for you if you need an appointment. Or you just have questions, or what?

CALLER: Oh. Well, I just had a few questions actually.

CLINIC: Okay. What is the questions?

CALLER: It’s just my friend told me that like since I’ll be 14 in March that you guys have to tell my parents. But my boyfriend’s 22. Could he just take care of everything?

CLINIC: That’s not true. We don’t need any consent from anybody.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: So we don’t need to have your parents consent and they don’t need to know anything.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Well, I’m not really sure if I’m pregnant. I’m just scared because like my last period was like December 14, so could I come in there for like a pregnancy test?

CLINIC: You could come in for a pregnancy test, yes.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay? Did you want to come in — but I have to tell you, you know when you’re that age and your boyfriend is 22, sometimes that has to be reported.

CALLER: What do you mean? Like to who?

CLINIC: The police.

CALLER: To the police?

CLINIC: Um-hum.

CALLER: Well, what could happen?

CLINIC: They just — I’m not really sure how they go about doing that, but —

CALLER: Could he get arrested?

CLINIC: I don’t know how. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don’t. And I can’t tell you what the cases are. But you can just come in for the pregnancy test.

CALLER: Well, would you have to tell anybody that I was there for that?

CLINIC: We don’t tell anybody that you were there for that. But if the nurse — if we know how old you are and how old your boyfriend is, then it gets reported.

CALLER: Well, he has to take me. I don’t have any other way to get there.

CLINIC: Okay. Well, I’m just warning you.

CALLER: Okay. So if I didn’t say anything, you think it would be all right?

CLINIC: Yeah. If you just don’t say anything.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay? So you can come here for the pregnancy test, and it’s before tomorrow if you wanted to come in tomorrow you have to come in between 7 and 12.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: And then you have to have that pregnancy test also in order to be able to even get the abortion appointment.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Well, what if it ended up that I wasn’t pregnant? Could I get birth control?

CLINIC: Yes. You can do that.

CALLER: Or do you guys have to tell anybody that I was on birth control?

CLINIC: Even by — no, we don’t tell anybody anything. It’s up to you. But when you get an exam, the nurse is going to report. I don’t know what the age limit is. Only the nurse knows that. And if she feels that she needs to report it, then she will.

CALLER: OH.

CLINIC: Anywhere that you go to, any —

CALLER: But I’ll be 14 in March.

CLINIC: It doesn’t matter. Your 14 is still not a legal age.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: So you can come in for the pregnancy test between 7 12:00 tomorrow morning.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: All right?

CALLER: Well, is it all right if I call you back and talk to you?

CLINIC: That’s fine. It’s not an appointment. It’s just as a walk-in. Hold on.

Hello?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: I’m sorry. So what were you saying?

CALLER: Well, you’re just so nice. I was wanting to see if I could ask — if I had any more questions could I call and talk to you?

CLINIC: Oh, well, of course. That’s no problem at all.

CALLER: Well, what was your name?

CLINIC: Santos.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Thanks.

CLINIC: All right. Bye bye.

CALLER: Bye.

CLINIC: Planned Parenthood. May I help you?

CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there?

CLINIC: No, we do not.

CALLER: Oh. Well, do you know anybody that does?

CLINIC: Planned Parenthood in San Jose. We have three clinics there that perform them.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Nobody here in Gilroy.

CALLER: Oh. Well, do you have the number for one of them?

CLINIC: Sure. The Blossom Hill Clinic, which is the closest one, is 281-9777.

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know, like I’m just worried because like, well I’m going to be 14 in March, and my friend told me that they would have to tell my parents that I was getting an abortion. But my boyfriend is 22. Is he old enough to take care if it and they wouldn’t have to tell anybody anything?

CLINIC: I don’t think — it’s completely confidential. I don’t think, I don’t think your parents would have to be notified at all.

CALLER: Oh. Okay.

CLINIC: That I’m aware of.

CALLER: Well, I’m just worried because like I haven’t had my period since like December 21st, so —

CLINIC: Yeah. You need to get in as soon as possible.

CALLER: Okay. Well, could I come in there for a pregnancy test?

CLINIC: Sure. We can do that today for you. You need to be here by 5:00 the latest.

CALLER: Okay. Well, my boyfriend would be the only way I could get there. Is it all right if he’s there with me?

CLINIC: Yeah. That’s fine.

CALLER: Okay. Well, would you have to — we were just talking about all this, and we didn’t want anyone to know anything about us. But would you have to ask a lot of questions if he was there?

CLINIC: No. We don’t ask him anything. We just speak to you.

CALLER: Oh, all right.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Well, if it turned out that I wasn’t pregnant, could I get birth control there?

CLINIC: You have to make an appointment for that.

CALLER: Oh, well, — but it’s just I don’t want to have to go through all this again. So.

CLINIC: Yeah. We wouldn’t be able to do that for you today because that’s a completely different service. We do pregnancy tests every day. Anything else does have to be by appointment. Okay?

CALLER: Oh, well, so after the pregnancy test could I like — if it was — how soon could I get birth control?

CLINIC: How old are you?

CALLER: I’ll be 14 in March.

CLINIC: Okay, can you come in tomorrow? We have Teen Clinic here very Wednesday, 2:00 to 6:00 for birth control.

CALLER: Oh. Well, if I was on birth control would you have to tell anybody about that though?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, if I had any other questions, could I call and talk to you about it? What was your name?

CLINIC: You need to come in. I’m just a front office person.

CALLER: Oh. Well, I just need a —

CLINIC: When you come in today or tomorrow you can talk to the person that does your test. She can help you.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: Good morning. Planned Parenthood. Jane speaking.

CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there?

CLINIC: No, we don’t. Are you pregnant?

CALLER: Well, I’m not really sure. I just haven’t had my period since like December 21st, and I’m scared.

CLINIC: Okay. Where do you live? Here in Greenfield?

CALLER: I live in Bradley.

CLINIC: Okay. Do you want to go in for a pregnancy test somewhere?

CALLER: Okay. Well, could I come in there?

CLINIC: You could come in here if — can you make it all the way up here today?

CALLER: Well, yeah. My boyfriend said he would bring me. It’s just my friend told me to go to you guys, so.

CLINIC: Yeah, because we do have a clinic in King City, but we’re only there one day a week. Is that easier for you?

CALLER: What day is that?

CLINIC: Well, that’s tomorrow. It’s on a Wednesday. Do you want to wait and go in there tomorrow?

CALLER: No, I’d rather do it today and find out.

CLINIC: Okay, can you — do you know where Green, where the clinic is here in Greenfield?

CALLER: My boyfriend does.

CLINIC: Okay. Yeah, we’d be happy to see you. We’re not busy right now, so if you want to come in now it probably won’t take too long.

CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, I’d have to call him to see. But —

CLINIC: Okay, well whenever’s convenient for you. You can come in any time today, but we do go to lunch from 12:00 to 1:00.

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know — like I’m just worried because like my friend told me — well, I’m going to be 14 —

CLINIC: Are you using any birth control or no?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: Uh-huh. Okay. And you haven’t had a period since December?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: And you’re usually regular?

CALLER: Usually, but do you know like if they would have to tell my parents at all if I was —

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: I’m going to be 14 in March but —

CLINIC: No. We don’t — no. It’s confidential. Your parents don’t have to know even if you’re going to plan to have an abortion. Your parents don’t need to know.

CALLER: Okay. It’s just — like my boyfriend’s 22. Is it all right if he signs for everything, or —

CLINIC: You can sign for everything. He doesn’t need to sign anything.

CALLER: Okay. So it’s all right if, like, well if I’m almost 14 and they wouldn’t, you still wouldn’t have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: Well, no. But you did — he wasn’t forcing you to have sex or anything, was he?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: Because we would have to report that.

CALLER: We’re in love.

CLINIC: Oh, okay. It’s just because he’s a lot older, so sometimes we, there’s a question about that. Yeah. You can come in today whenever you can get here is fine. We’re kind of — we’re slow now but we don’t have very many staff today, so if you come in and there’s people ahead of you you’ll have to wait a little longer.

CALLER: Okay. It will probably be after lunch I think.

CLINIC: Okay. That will probably be okay.

CALLER: Is that all right if he’s there with me though?

CLINIC: Oh, yeah. Yeah. He can’t come to the back while we — when we do the test, but if you want him in the room for the results we can have him in the room.

CALLER: Well, I was wondering — like we were talking about all this and we don’t want anyone to know about us. Would you have to say anything if he was there though?

CLINIC: No. No. We don’t have to say anything to anybody. We can’t — we can’t even, if a mother or a parent calls we can’t say whether the client, if you’re here or not. It’s totally confidential, so you don’t have to be worried about that.

CALLER: Okay. Well, if it ended up —

CLINIC: Yeah, if you are pregnant we can give you a list of places where you can go. And if you’re pregnant you can apply for Medical without your parents knowing also, so you don’t have to pay for the procedure.

CALLER: Okay. Well, if it ended up that I wasn’t pregnant, could I get birth control?

CLINIC: Oh, yes, of course. Uh-huh.

CALLER: But would you have to tell anybody about that?

CLINIC: No, no, no.

CALLER: Okay. Well, if like — I’m just really worried about everything.

CLINIC: Of course you are.

CALLER: We don’t want to have to go through all this again if I’m not pregnant.

CLINIC: Right. Well, come in and get tested. If you’re not pregnant we’ll get you going on pills or whatever you would like to try.

CALLER: All right. Well, do you know, like I’m not old enough to drive yet. But could my boyfriend pick up the birth control pills if I wasn’t pregnant?

CLINIC: No. You have to come in and be seen.

CALLER: After that?

CLINIC: You mean on another day?

CALLER: Well, like after I, you guys have seen —

CLINIC: If you’re not pregnant and you need a refill on pills?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Yeah. But you’d have to write a note. We have to have a written note from you that he could pick them up. As long as you write something on a piece of paper that you’re giving permission for whatever his name is to come in and pick up birth control pills, we can give them to you that way or him the next time.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay? I’ve got another call. Do you want to come in then and we’ll see you soon?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: What’s your name?

CALLER: I’m Christine.

CLINIC: Okay. My name’s Jane. I’m one of the nurses. We’ll see you today. Okay?

CALLER: Okay. Thank you.

CLINIC: Okay, you’re welcome.

CALLER: Bye.

CLINIC: Planned Parenthood. May I help you?

CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there?

CLINIC: Yes. We do first trimester.

CALLER: Okay. Well, how do you know —

CLINIC: Have you had a pregnancy test done yet?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: Okay. Oh, you’re in Weaverville?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: Are you in Weaverville? Well, where are you?

CALLER: I live in Hayfork (sp).

CLINIC: Okay, you’re in Hayfork. See, I’m Eureka. Because we’re only Hayfork once a month, and we’re in Weaverville every week. So I can make you an appointment to go in and get a pregnancy test, and then you would go from there.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: They also do them in Reading if you wanted those phone numbers.

CALLER: I just — well, could I ask you a quick question actually?

CLINIC: Yeah.

CALLER: I’m just worried about all this because like my friend told me that since like I’m — well, I’ll be 14 in March, and she said that you guys would have to tell my parents about getting an abortion. But my boyfriend’s 22. Is he old enough to take care of it?

CLINIC: Who?

CALLER: My boyfriend?

CLINIC: Well, that’s a problem. If you come in and you tell us that you have a 22-year-old boyfriend and that — you’re only 13 years old?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: That’s against the law.

CALLER: Why?

CLINIC: He’s like way older than you. He’s an adult. And so they say that is something that needs to be reported to Child Protective Services. Now —

CALLER: Well, what could happen?

CLINIC: If you — well, your parents could have him arrested for having sex with a minor. It’s statutory rape because he’s an adult and you’re a child.

CALLER: Well, what can I do?

CLINIC: You don’t have to tell anybody that he’s 22 years old.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: I mean, that’s up to you. You know, if you have a boyfriend that’s about the same age you are, then there’s probably not going to be any reporting — if your boyfriend’s 13 or 14 also. But if your boyfriend is an adult, then the law says it has to be reported. You would rather come to Eureka you think?

CALLER: I don’t know.

CLINIC: For an abortion? Or Reading? Which would be easier for you?

CALLER: Well, I need to get that pregnancy test first, but —

CLINIC: Absolutely. Let me see when we’re going to be in Weaverville gain, okay? Hang on one second, okay? Don’t hang up.

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: Because I don’t have to do any reporting because of what you just told me. I don’t even know who you are, so hang on a second.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: (pause) I’m back.

CALLER: Hi.

CLINIC: Okay. Let me check to see what’s going on, when we’re going to be in Hayfork, because I’m just not sure. Oh, it won’t let me do it without a name. Okay. What’s your name? Last name first.

CALLER: Smith.

CLINIC: SMITH?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: And what’s your first name?

CALLER: Christine.

CLINIC: C-H?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: I just lost my program on my computer. My computer is just like going totally weird. Hang on a second. It’s just like spazzing out on me. It is driving me crazy. You know how computers can be?

CALLER: Yeah. Well, do you know, like if I wasn’t pregnant if I could get birth control there?

CLINIC: Oh, absolutely. Absolutely.

CALLER: And you guys still wouldn’t have to tell anybody about that either?

CLINIC: We have a disclaimer — it’s on all our forms. If you tell us that, for example, it lists a whole bunch of things like that you’re physically abused by your parents or by a boyfriend of someone, then we may legally have to report it. If you have a boyfriend that’s more than, I can’t remember the exact dates, but say three years older than you are, we may have to report it. But if it’s two kids that are both, that are like 13, 14, around the same age, if you don’t tell us, what you don’t tell us we don’t report. But we don’t want you not to tell us something and then be a victim.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: You know what I mean?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Yeah. So we — yeah. So it’s just we go by what you tell us.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: And, you know, if you had some 25-year-old boyfriend and you’re young, that’s — then it has to be reported if you tell us that, or if you come in with bruises and a black eye and you say, yeah, my boyfriend beat me up.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: Because otherwise people wouldn’t be protected. Women get killed all the time because of that kind of stuff.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: And we need to let them know that they can get help.

CALLER: Yeah. Definitely.

CLINIC: And usually if a boyfriend is in their 20s and the girl is like 13 or something, usually — and I’m not saying always, like not necessarily in your circumstances or mine or anybody else’s, but usually it’s just a sexual relationship because obviously there’s not much more to talk about when there’s such a huge age discrepancy. And so many times the younger one, whether it’s a male or female, gets really taken advantage of.

CALLER: Oh. I don’t think that’s the case, but —

CLINIC: There are a lot of really immature 20-year-olds and a lot of really mature 13-year-olds, so it kind of has to — you know, it’s not always there. You have to think about how mature somebody is and if they know what they’re doing and all that. Okay. Let me see. I’ve got a Weaverville clinic. Can you ever get to Weaverville?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Because I do have an opening in the Weaverville clinic for March 7. But I think what you might need to do is go buy a pregnancy test at a pharmacy.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: If you can’t do it locally maybe your boyfriend can. Just to go in and buy a home pregnancy test and make sure you follow the directions exactly right and see how that comes out. And we can still make you the appointment, but we don’t have an opening in Weaverville until March 7. Let me see when we have one in Hayfork.

CALLER: Okay. Well, if I do a home pregnancy test could I call you back?

CLINIC: Yeah. You could. And then we would have to get into our Weaverville clinic.

CALLER: Okay. Well, what’s your name?

CLINIC: My name is Ann. But you could just call and say, I live in Hayfork, I did a home pregnancy test, and I need to get into your Weaverville clinic or — yeah, Weaverville clinic as soon as possible so that you can get the, you know, an exam and referrals for an abortion, abortion services and that stuff, whatever you’re interested in.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: So yeah, so don’t let it go. Do that and then call us.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay, and you don’t have to repeat what you said to me today.

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: Okay, bye.

CALLER: Bye.

CLINIC: Planned Parenthood. How may I help you?

CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there?

CLINIC: If we do abortions here?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Uh-huh. We do.

CALLER: Oh. Well, how much does that cost?

CLINIC: Do you have insurance or you don’t have insurance?

CALLER: Well, my boyfriend said he would pay for everything. So. I don’t have insurance.

CLINIC: Okay. For 7 to 12 weeks for a surgical procedure it’s $350.

CALLER: Okay. Well, how do you know how far along you are?

CLINIC: Here you’re awake too. I don’t know if that makes a difference to you.

CALLER: Oh, I don’t know.

CLINIC: It doesn’t matter?

CALLER: No.

CLINIC: Okay, so then — because some people prefer to be asleep. You do have the option of being awake or asleep. Being awake would be fine?

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know — I’m just really worried about everything because like, well, my friend told me that since like I’m going to be 14 in March and she said that they would have to tell my parents, but my boyfriend’s 22. Could he just sign whatever it is, and they wouldn’t have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: You’re going to be 14 years old?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: No. You don’t need parental consent.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: At all at any age. It doesn’t matter.

CALLER: So my boyfriend would sign, or —

CLINIC: No, your boyfriend doesn’t have to sign anything.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: You would do everything.

CALLER: Okay. Well, could I get a pregnancy test there to see if I was pregnant?

CLINIC: Uh-huh. What location?

CALLER: I’m not really sure. Could I just come in there?

CLINIC: Which one?

CALLER: The one in Haywood.

CLINIC: Haywood?

CALLER: Hayward, yeah.

CLINIC: Yeah, you can drop in. If you want to go in today, 9:00 to 11:00 or 1:00 to 3:00.

CALLER: Okay. Well, I’m just really worried because like I haven’t had my period since like December 21st, and I don’t know what to do.

CLINIC: One sec, okay?

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: What’s the first day of your last period?

CALLER: December 21st.

CLINIC: That was the day it started?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: So right now if that was your last period you would be probably about 9 weeks or so, going on 10 weeks. So you definitely want to get this started and done as soon as possible.

CALLER: Okay. Well, me and my boyfriend were talking about all this and we don’t want anyone to know about us. Would you guys have to say anything?

CLINIC: No. Everything’s confidential.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: But if he is 22 and you’re 13, well, I don’t know if you’d really want to bring him to — does he look that old?

CALLER: Oh, I don’t know.

CLINIC: I mean, do you — because — hold on one sec, okay?

CALLER: Okay.

(recorded message and music)

CLINIC: Hello? Hi. Okay. I’m going to actually transfer you so you can speak with my manager.

CALLER: Okay. What’s her name?

CLINIC: Her name is Madeline (sp). Okay? And she’ll help you with this, okay? One second.

(recorded message and music)

CLINIC: Hello?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Hi. This is Madeline.

CALLER: Hi.

CLINIC: Hi. You know, your question is a difficult question to answer just, you know, absolutely. First and foremost, we’re not — we want to encourage that you do seek the care that you need.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: And with sensitive services you can receive services without parental notification. However, under other circumstances there might be another referral necessary to CPS if in fact there are certain factors. One is —

CALLER: Who is that?

CLINIC: Well, one, we want to make certain that it is consensual on your —

CALLER: Well, yeah. I mean, we’re in love. We’re going to get married.

CLINIC: And then sometimes there is an age disparity of concern, so if somebody is greater than, you know, 19 and you are less than — or 14 — there’s an age difference between the two of you that are greater, that might be an indication to have further review with you just to make sure that in fact that this is consensual and that you’re not at risk.

CALLER: Well, could my boyfriend come in with me for a pregnancy test?

CLINIC: Yes, he can. Uh-huh.

CALLER: Okay. But would you have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: Well, that’s why, again, I want to be clear and not give you mixed messages.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: That if there is a greater risk and concern that it, in fact it’s not consensual, then an outside referral will be given.

CALLER: Oh. Well, what do you mean? Like, what outside referral?

CLINIC: Child Protective Services.

CALLER: Oh. Well, what would happen?

CLINIC: It’s a, what we call an informal referral, and they may or may not notify you or your parents.

CALLER: They could notify my parents?

CLINIC: Well, again, it’s not considered a high alert if in fact you have indicated that it is consensual.

CALLER: Well, yeah. But — but okay.

CLINIC: But I can’t tell you absolutely we won’t make that referral.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: That’s why I’m telling you, you know, straight, the way it may be.

CALLER: Well, what if it turned out that I wasn’t pregnant?

CLINIC: He’s an adult and you’re a minor, and so based by law that’s a whole different jurisdiction.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: Do you understand what I’m saying?

CALLER: Yeah. I think so.

CLINIC: Because you are how old?

CALLER: I’ll be 14 in March.

CLINIC: Okay, and he is how old?

CALLER: He’s 22.

CLINIC: Yeah. The age difference in that in and of itself is a concern.

CALLER: Okay. Well, if it ended up that I wasn’t pregnant, would you have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: Well, no, I can’t say that absolutely either. But I’m just letting you know that if certain information is disclosed, meaning that if you come forward and tell us, we have a certain obligation to do an informal referral.

CALLER: Okay. So if I didn’t tell you, you wouldn’t have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: That’s correct.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: All right?

CALLER: Well, if I came in for a pregnancy test and it said that I wasn’t pregnant, could I get birth control, because I don’t want to have to go through all this again.

CLINIC: Absolutely.

CALLER: But would you have to tell anybody that I was on birth control though?

CLINIC: No. No. No, and we don’t even have to report that you’ve had an abortion.

CALLER: Oh.

CLINIC: It has more to do with consensual —

CALLER: If like I was on birth control, I can’t drive to pick up the pills. Could my boyfriend get them?

CLINIC: No. You have to be the one to pick up, and this information has to be released to you directly.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: You have to sign an informed consent for birth control. But in terms of what you’re asking, without parental notification you can receive those services. All right?

CALLER: So just don’t say anything about my boyfriend, and it will be all okay?

CLINIC: I can’t tell you that. That’s your choice.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

CLINIC: Okay? But again, I want to be very, um, mindful to at least express to you what some of those ramifications could be.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Do you understand what I’m saying?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: All right. So again, we don’t want to overlook if there’s additional information that you might need too. But in terms of mandatory — you know, we will not — when you receive services from us it’s confidential. We won’t disclose that, that you’ve received birth control or an abortion to your family or anyone else for that matter, without your consent.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: I’ll call you back if I had anything else.

CLINIC: Great.

CALLER: Thanks.

CLINIC: You’re very welcome. Bye bye.

CALLER: Bye.
