A sand sculpture created at an event in Florida captures the miracle of a human baby!

Artists from as far away as the Philippines competed in the 5th annual Siesta Key Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Competition on Nov. 14-18.

Founded in 2010, the competition takes place every November over the course of 7 days, where artists create a large community of carved sculptures from tons of sand.

This year, a sculpture entitled “Miracle of Life” displaying the beauty of a baby which appears to be cradled in his Creator’s hands was selected by attendees as the People’s Choice.

The sculpture was created by John Gowdy and Jan Zelinka according to organizers and a picture was posted on the organization’s Facebook page !

Although, at the time we are publishing this blog, we do not know what motivated the artist to create this sculpture we know that the value of life is reinforced anytime you reveal the “Miracle of Life.”
