#8 – Reducing the “Need” For Abortion
The abortion lobby often proposes that we join them to look for ways to end the need for abortion. It’s a trap called “common ground.” These people know that legal abortion is easier to sell when the public believes that they are done out of need rather than want, and every time we take the “common ground” bait we help them sell that lie.
Welcome to our new series, “Abortion Distortion,” where we turn the tables and make the pro-choice side defend the illogical, deceptive and immoral nature of their positions!
We also have to be cautious to not fall for their traps. For example, the abortion lobby often proposes that we join them to look for ways to end the need for abortion. The abortion lobby often proposes that we join them to look for ways to end the need for abortion. It’s a trap called “common ground.”
These people know that legal abortion is easier to sell when the public believes that they are done out of need rather than want, and every time we take the “common ground” bait we help them sell that lie. After all, rational people don’t look for something unless they believe it exists, so when we agree to look for ways to reduce the “need” for abortion, we are agreeing that, sometimes, abortions are needed.
The truth, of course, is that almost every abortion done in America is for non-medical reasons to kill a healthy baby being carried by a woman whose pregnancy does not threaten her life or health and was not the result of rape or incest. And that has nothing to do with need.

More Abortion Distortions:
#41 – “Abortion IS Healthcare!”
The abortion lobby desperately tries to convince the public that abortion is healthcare. But even studies from the U.S. government and the abortion industry itself prove that’s far from the truth…
#87 – Does Viability Define Humanity?
The pro-choice side argues that abortions before viability are okay since the child cannot survive if he or she is removed from the mother’s womb. But this argument is so illogical it’s laughable.
#84 – Where’s The Payoff?
The pro-choice side pushes abortion as a solution to social problems. And yet, the social problems America faced when we began this holocaust, haven’t gotten better – they’ve gotten worse.
