Memorable show quotes:
“This is the kind of people that I have talked about before. Who want the mantle of pro-life and the mortality that comes along with it. But when push comes to shove, they’re pro-aborts.” Mark Crutcher on Life Talk discussing how Rep. Renee Ellmers sabotaged the 20 week abortion ban.
Fr. Frank Pavone calls into the show to update the viewers on Alveda King’s encounter with pro-choice protestors at the March for Life. Rmore here.
“On one hand, when you talk about late term abortions, Planned Parenthood comes out and says, oh – the almost never happen. Right? There’s almost no late term abortions.”
“But then, Planned Parenthood issues a statement saying, that, if you ban 20 week abortions it will affect 20 million American women. Well…how is that? If it’s so rare, how would it affect 20 million women?” Mark Crutcher asked.
Mark has some interesting comments about Ruth Nader Ginsburg and her statements that abortions are needed for poor women.
She came out and said that any restrictions on abortion are a crying shame because they affect poor women getting abortions.
“Poor by the way is code for Black” Crutcher says.
Mark then brings up the rumors that ISIS is harvesting the human organs of the people they have slaughtered.
“Well…let’s think about it from this standpoint,” Crutcher said.
“We are the organization that went undercover and discovered that the abortion industry chops up the babies that they kill and sells them for parts. How is that different?” Crutcher asked.
“And I kept on hearing this argument back in those days – well..yeah…I’m opposed to abortion but at least some good can come from it. If you chop those babies up and sell their parts.
“Why isn’t that true here?”

This month, Life Talk viewers received a look at what Bikers for Life has accomplished:
“There’s been a fundamental change in the pro-aborts in just the last few years. Used to be they would argue with us. And they would try to make their position. The problem that they had was, they don’t have any new arguments. The arguments that the pro-aborts make today to defend #abortion are the same ones they made 40 years ago. We’ve got new arguments. Since Roe vs. Wade all the new technology that has come along has favored us….So now, they don’t try to engage the prolife movement anymore, they try to silence it.” ~ Mark Crutcher on the March 2015 Life Talk show, watch here www.LifeTalkTv.com
Mark gives the audience a great pro-life response to the pro-choice coat hanger threat:
“Every one of these women who suffer from coat hanger abortions, suffer at the hands of someone who is pro-choice and not pro-life. If you think about it for a minute what these people are saying when they bring out their coat hangers, is, if you don’t let us kill babies we’re going to kill women- but- somebody’s dying! We need to tell these people that we’re not taking responsibility for the women that you are threatening to kill any more.”
The Life Talk Panel also got a laugh watching the new Wendy Davis “Shrinking Head” video- see for yourself:
LIFE TALK NEWS: March 2015
As always, Alan Ackles brought us the month’s pro-life news.
Abortion clinics continue to close in the early part of 2015 as Planned Parenthood shut down facilities in Issaquah, Washington, and Brewster, New York. In addition, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains has announced that they are closing their facility in Pueblo, Colorado saying that their lease expired. And the shopping center they rented from would not renew it. Vicky Cowart, the CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains told KOAA, that they were unable to find an affordable alternative.
This particular facility was caught during a Life Dynamics sting operation agreeing to illegally cover up for adult men who have sex with minor children. The caller, posing as a young girl impregnated by a 22-year-old man, asked Planned Parenthood if her adult boyfriend could pay for her visit and if they would keep it confidential, to which, Planned Parenthood replied, “It’s all confidential.” That audio along with documented criminal case summaries showing how Planned Parenthood continues to cover for pedophiles can be found at www.childpredators.com. In an update to a previous Life Talk News story, The Michigan Attorney General’s Office has suspended the license of a local abortion clinic after authorities discovered several health code violations. According to the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the Women’s Center of Southfield, owned by abortionist Jacob Kalo, failed to maintain a sterile facility and did not accurately inform a patients of the risks or complications they faced by having abortions. The order was prompted after a patent came forward saying the abortionist Reginald Sharpe botched her 23 week abortion so badly she required treatment in an emergency hospital care.
In similar incidents of botched abortions, Operation Rescue has reported that in one single weekend four women were transported by ambulance from abortion facilities. According to the group, the abortion emergencies took place at: Planned Parenthood in Houston, Texas, Planned Parenthood in Riverside, California, Little Rock Family Planning Services, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Akron Women’s Medical Group, Akron, Ohio. In a majority of the instances, pro-lifers who were present when the ambulances arrived at the various clinics captured video of the injured women being transferred to the hospital.
In Pennsylvania, the president of a Jesuit university has decided that the school’s health plan will no longer cover abortion for the so-called hard cases. Father Kevin Quinn, made the announcement in a letter to University of Scranton employees. The school up to that point had covered abortions used to avert the death of the woman and or those caused by rape or incest. Father Quinn explained that logistically there was no reason for the University to provide abortion coverage stating that the moral teaching of the Church on abortion is unequivocal.
A Texas man has been given 2 life sentences with no parole after he raped a child and then took for an abortion. The victim was the daughter of another child that 36-year-old Roy Wayne Jackson Jr. raped at the age of 12. According to reports, the pedophile began assaulting the daughter when she was eight years old, forcing the child to take birth control pills. At the age of 13, Jackson impregnated the victim and took her for an abortion. After aborting the child, Jackson brought the victim back to the doctor for a birth control patch. The sexual abuse lasted until the victim was 15 years old which reveals that neither the abortion clinic nor the doctor’s office called police. In fact, after the abortion, Jackson got the victim pregnant a second time and when the victim told her cousin that Jackson was the father of her baby, the cousin notified the authorities. Also in Dallas , Texas, Dallas Cowboys’ running back Joseph Randle allegedly offered his pregnant girlfriend, Dalia Jacobs, $20,000 to abort their unborn child. Jacobs refused and is now suing Randle for child support demanding Randle give her more than $5,000 per month to help pay for their 1-year-old son. Jacobs says Randle hasn’t been involved in their child’s life and made it clear from the beginning that he was not supportive of her pregnancy. Dalia’s attorney, Charlie O’Hara, was quoted by TMZ as saying, “When she told him she was pregnant, he offered her $5,000 … then $10,000 … followed by $20,000 to have the child aborted“.
In Alabama, a group of pro-life leaders have accused state officials of ignoring suspected illegal activity occurring inside a local abortion clinic. The group, which includes Operation Rescue and CEC for Life, said that under state law, any private practice performing more than 9 abortions a month must be licensed by the state. They claim that Central Alabama Women’s Clinic, operated by Samuel G. Lett is functioning as an abortion clinic without proper licensing and inspections. Pro-lifers have provided overwhelming evidence to state regulators as well as Alabama Board of Medical Examiners, to back up their claims. The group recently held a press conference to call for an immediate shutdown of the clinic until the state can offer ample proof that its activities are within the law.
In Minnesota, administrators at a Catholic University say that they are standing firm in their decision to allow students to receive academic credit for interning at the local chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW). The president of the University of St Thomas
attempted to justify the listing, by stating that NOW is not just focused on abortion, but is also involved in other activities. Recently the school has been under fire for also offering internships at other radically pro-abortion groups including Planned Parenthood and the Minnesota chapter of the National Abortion Rights Action League.
And finally, a Missouri pro-life foundation has purchased the Twin Spires in Downtown St. Joseph with plans to create a national pro-life shrine. Representatives of the St. Mary and St. Joseph Family Memorial Foundation, which also operates the National American Holocaust Memorial in Baton Rouge, La., said that when it opens this spring, the church will become the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the first national pro-life shrine in the country. It will serve as a location for prayer to end abortion, and for atonement for the babies and the conversion of their parents.
