CALLER: Well, I took a pregnancy test from the store over the weekend, and it said it was positive.
CLINIC: Then you are pregnant. So why do you say you’re not sure?
CALLER: Well, I don’t know if I did it right.
CLINIC: There is no right or wrong. You do the urine test, whatever comes out on the thing, most of the time it is accurate.
CALLER: Okay.
CLINIC: Okay?
CALLER: Well, is it okay if I call you back real quick?
CLINIC: What do you need to call me back for?
CALLER: Is there like a pregnancy test there or anything to make sure?
CLINIC: You can do one here. But if you know that is what you want to do, then you can go right over there because they will do a sonogram and everything there. If you do a pregnancy test, and it’s positive, most likely it is positive. Because we do the same urine test. We don’t do any other different test.
CALLER: Okay. Well, it would just make me feel better if someone else would —
CLINIC: If you want to set up an appointment to do a pregnancy test, we certainly will do that for you if you that is what you want.

CALLER: Okay. What’s the difference in the price?
CLINIC: There’s two different procedures that we do.

CLINIC: Okay. One is a surgical procedure, and the other one is a medial procedure. Have you heard about the RU486?
CALLER: Well, no.
CLINIC: Okay. Well, that’s what they call it on the news. We call it Mifepristone. Can you hold one second?

CLINIC: Okay. It’s actually a pill that you take. You wait two days, and then you insert four tablets vaginally. And it has you terminate, actually, at home when you insert those four tablets.

CLINIC: The other one is a surgical procedure where we use the suction machine.
CALLER: Oh. Okay. Would you guys have to tell my parents or anything?
CLINIC: Okay. As long as you come here, your parents do not have to be informed. The only way that they would be is if something that happened, and we had to send you to the emergency room. Then your parents would have to be contacted.
CALLER: What could happen?
CLINIC: Well, they go over all that with you when you come in for your counseling.
CALLER: Oh, okay. Do you have to be a certain age to get an abortion or anything? Like I’ll be 14 in March.
CLINIC: No, you don’t.

CLINIC: Have you been to a doctor and had a positive test done yet?

CLINIC: Okay. The best thing for you to do is you’d have to come in and meet with either one of our nurses or our counselor. We’d actually do a pregnancy test, and they would go over all your options and explain everything to you, the different procedures, and payment, and everything.

CLINIC: Okay, he can come with you. When they first take you back, though, they’ll only bring you because there is some confidential stuff that we need to go over with you.
