In the past few months, Planned Parenthood has suddenly begun to distance itself from its founder, Margaret Sanger, to the point that they even removed her name from one of their facilities.

The question is why?

Did they only recently discover that this woman is the poster child for racism and eugenics? Or maybe they always knew this, but they had a “Road to Demascus” moment and saw the error of their ways. Of course, you’d have to still believe in the Tooth Fairy to buy into either one of those scenarios.

"Eugenics is the most adequare and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems." -Margaret Sanger
Founder of Planned Parenthood

A more plausible explanation is found in my book, Siege. I make the case that, for years, Planned Parenthood has been positioning itself to become an agency of the federal government, probably within the Department of Health and Human Services. The plan was derailed in 2016 when Hillary Clinton lost, but with Biden in office, the long-time love affair he and Kamala Harris have had with Planned Parenthood could put it back on track.

However, America is now a different environment than it was when this effort began. Today, even the hint of racism – founded or not – is the kiss of death. So maybe, the people who want to turn Planned Parenthood into a government agency have concluded that it is time to toss Sanger under the bus and be rid of her racial and eugenics baggage.

  1. PP, the top provider of the killing field a government agency? Top “staunch Catholics” promoting it! Certainly, 2020 was God’s last wakeup call for the “ho hum” church leaders who are afraid to speak out lest their cushy, tax exempt status be revoked! Keep Margaret Sanger’s dire rebuke of black babies at the forefront, along with the Planned Parenthood, NARAL, Emily’s List, Alan Guttmacher Inst. and other anti-family organizations—NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER QUIT!
