The pro-choice mob says there is no consensus in America for outlawing abortion. Of course, it is well known that polling on abortion is notoriously unreliable, so that may or may not be true. But so what if it is?
History is overrun with examples where consensus simply meant that most of the fools and idiots were on one side of an issue. And it wasn’t always the right side. Remember, at one time the consensus was that the earth is flat, and for much of American history there was no consensus for outlawing slavery or for allowing women to vote. What we need to understand is that consensus does not create truth; truth is supposed to create consensus. And in this case, the truth is that abortion takes the life of an innocent and helpless human being.
