Complex Problem. Simple Answer?

How did Democrats come to have this bizarre level of authority and control over the African-American community?

Last night, Tim Scott – the Black Republican Senator
from South Carolina – was chosen to give the rebuttal
to Biden’s semi-coherent speech to Congress.

Afterward, social media lit up with the Left hurling racial invectives at Scott with some referring to him as an “Uncle Tim.” This morning, the social media accounts of these people are not shut down, we haven’t heard a peep from the print and broadcast media, and the Democrat Party leadership is nowhere to be found.

Worse yet, liberal Black “influencers” who spend their lives looking for every opportunity to label anyone who opposes their agenda as a racist, suddenly don’t have anything to say. In fact, they’re not calling for even a small city to be burned down.

Of course, no one is stupid enough to believe that if conservatives were openly referring to a Black Democrat with similar racial insults, the reaction would be the same.

But the real question is: How did Democrats come to have this bizarre level of authority and control over the African-American community? After all, it was Democrats who supported slavery, created the Ku Klux Klan, enacted Jim Crow laws, and opposed the Voting Rights Act. This list goes on and on but, in the end, it always leads back to that same question.

I have a theory.

There is a psychological condition called Stockholm syndrome that occurs when someone identifies with and forms positive bonds with people who have kidnapped them or are using force to control them. It is even known that, in some cases, the victims will actually fall in love with their captors.

Now I realize that this may sound like a simplistic answer, but the possible existence of Stockholm syndrome within the Black community does seem to connect all the dots. Besides, I have yet to hear a more plausible explanation.
