Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue and co-host of the national pro-life show, Life Talk TV, says pro-lifers will not relent until America is abortion free.
Newman was reporting from outside Planned Parenthood in D.C. where thousands of pro-lifers will take part in the annual March for Life.
Newman is the co-author of the new book Abortion Free which he wrote with Cheryl Sullenger.
Abortion Free details how pro-life supporters can successfully close abortion clinics using the proven strategies and tactics that have contributed to the closure of 73% of all abortion facilities in America since 1991.
“Abortion Free is a manual for the pro-life movement that teaches how anyone can stop abortion through peaceful and legal means,” said Newman. “Our experiences with Tiller and other abortionists around the nation that have been closed down using the methods described in our book serve as a blueprint for building an abortion-free America once community at a time.”
Today, as Newman stood outside Planned Parenthood he recounted the numbers of children they killed just this year, “were standing in front a Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the entire world. Just last year they did 330,000 abortions. 330,000 innocent children were killed at this establishment and their affiliates around the country.”
“This morning is the first prayer vigil of many at the annual observance of Roe V. Wade, we call it the March for Life and for 42 years we’ve been gathering here in Washington D.C., to march on our nation’s capital to speak out against the atrocity of abortion. We look forward to the day when America will truly be abortion free.”
Newman emphasized that the pro-life movement is excited about the gains, “75 percent all the nations abortion clinics have closed,” he states, “We’re excited that there were once 2200 abortion clinics and there are now 550. But we will not relent. We will not stop speaking for the unborn children until every abortion clinic like this one behind us is closed and every baby is safe in his mother’s womb. “
